The Quest Claim Status feature on this web site is a useful tool for any claims department to quickly locate the status of a claim that has been sent to Quest for discounting. By entering a few items of relevant information, you will know the status of each claim. At a quick glance you are able to see if a claim has been Accepted, Non-Accepted or is currently In Process awaiting answer from the provider’s business office.

After logging in, by entering the tax identification number (TIN) of the provider and the first letter of the last name of the patient and the dollar amount of the billed charges, your claims department can immediately see where each claim stands. Re-pricing sheets or Non-Acceptance forms can be printed for immediate use.

Accepted negotiated claims are returned to the TPA in the form of a re-pricing sheet known as the “Summary of Savings”. Claims that do not receive a discount are returned to the TPA in the form of a “Non- Acceptance”. “In Process” means that the negotiated claim is still awaiting provider approval. Claims not identified in the Quest database were not received in our office and should be immediately re-sent to Quest for prompt attention.
