The
process to send claims to Quest
for skilful negotiation is simple and efficient!
- Quest receives claims via, secure e-mail, HTTP Upload, or Fax.
- Each eligible claim received is issued a Quest control number.
- Claims are handled by regional claim managers for processing.
- Quest claim managers negotiate out of network claims.
- Contract agreement is sent via facsimile to the provider for authorization of negotiated settlement amount.
- At the end of each business day Quest prepares the "Summary of Savings" form for each claim successfully negotiated.
- Claims from providers not extending a reduction off billed charges
will be returned to payer with an explanation of "non-acceptance"
within 48 hours.
